All-Aluminum Cabinets – Why use aluminum? Aluminum is strong and over 30% lighter than steel. It resists the elements of nature and will never rust. American LED Technology’s all aluminum cabinets feature a sealed design with no doors or hinges to leak or fail. All of our connection points are waterproof and rated IP65 or higher. Cabinets are finished in our rugged Duramax® all-weather coating, an industrial strength coating that is flame resistant, waterproof, and will never chip or scratch. We’ve designed our own custom high-strength extrusion which houses our LED displays. This custom design is very strong and makes production easy, fast and accurate.
Modules – American LED Technology utilizes state of the art LED modules to build a reliable display that will operate brightly for many years. All American LED Technology modules are manufactured using premium components. All modules have average LED life of 100,000 hours or greater. Module brightness levels can reach up to 12,000 nits. All LED modules conform to NRTL standards. Modules are 1.05’ H x 1.05’ W making display sizes available in multiples of 1.05’ in height and width with no costly dead space. LED modules are available in 8mm SMD and standard 3 LED pixel resolutions of 10mm, 13.33mm, 16mm and 20mm. Virtual resolutions of 16mm and 20mm which utilize a 4 LED pixel configuration are also available. All LED modules have a front release mechanism for quick and easy servicing with a common 3mm hex head tool. American LED Technology uses LED modules coated with a thick layer of silicone gel which protects components and circuit board connections from corrosion and mold caused by moisture thus improving reliability and extending the life.
Power Supplies – Only the most rugged and capable power supply can withstand extreme temperatures, variations in relative humidity and spikes in the incoming electrical system. American LED Technology uses a highly reliable, state-of-the-art power supply capable of continuous operation for very long periods of time. The power supplies used in our displays have a universal AC input and auto voltage adjusting circuitry, allowing proper operation over a wide range of input voltages anywhere from 88 – 264 VAC and an input frequency range 47 – 63 Hz. Power supplies in an LED display are working 100% of the time, even when the screen is idle. These components must have the ability to operate under extreme heat, cold, and humidity. Varied environmental conditions are no problem for our power supplies which can operate in temperature ranges of -20 C to +65C (-4F to + 149F) and relative humidity conditions of 20% to 90% RH. Speed controlled DC fans provide forced air cooling to the circuitry. Conformal coated circuit card assemblies protect the circuitry from moisture, the cause for corrosion and mold. Integrated protection circuitry is used to protect the power supply and other components of the LED display. Overload, over temperature, and over voltage protection work together to make the MTBF, mean time between failures, 207,000 hours minimum as measured by MIL-HDBK-217F (25 degrees C).
Surge Protection – Power surges are extremely brief overvoltage spikes on an AC power waveform. The most damaging type of surge enters your LED display through the power line and are called “externally generated”. These surges can damage LED PCBs, receiving cards and other components in your LED display. Other surges are created by lightning and normal load switching seen as “power blinks”. If your sign suffers a direct hit from lightning damage can occur despite following earth grounding procedures.

5 Year Parts Warranty & US Based Technical Support
Our Five Year Limited Parts Warranty warrants LED Displays and the associated products against any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years (warranty period) to the original purchaser*. This warranty covers parts (LED’s, Power Supplies, Cooling Fans, Internal Electronic Components, & Cabinet). In addition, we include a 3-year labor warranty to troubleshoot and repair at our facility. The warranty period begins immediately on the date the display is shipped.
Rest assured that you have made the correct purchasing decision backed by an experienced, knowledgeable team of technicians with one goal in mind: maintain maximum operability of your display. Our commitment to you brings free, unlimited technical support to you or your customer for as long as you own your LED display. This is not a web “knowledge base” for you to find answers, but a team of professionals from our facility in Florida answering your calls when the phone rings.

Drag & Play Software
Advertising content management and control software must be versatile and scalable, allowing users to do what they want without being awkwardly difficult to learn. Our software is a tool that combines powerful features and ease of use for maximum simplicity.
Drag and Play – Pick an image or video with the click of a mouse and then drag to the play window. That’s it! Click play and your American LED Technology Display will begin playing the file you just dropped into the play area. That is as user friendly as it gets.
Cloud control – Monitor & manage your display from anywhere at anytime with our FREE cloud management system. Upload content and advance scheduling routines many years in advance and have them stored on the cloud to be played at the precise moment you need them. Clusters of displays can be joined in similar programming modes to make endless and seamless groups of screens.*
Scheduling – Imagine loading your holiday messages on your screen and scheduling them to play from November 24th to December 31, but only on the weekends and only during the hours of 7am to 7pm but not on December 25th!! You can do this and much more.
Compatibility – Run multiple types of video files (.MOV, .AVI, .SWF, ect…), text, still images, media streaming and live events on synchronous or asynchronous mode either hosted on the screen, on the cloud or pulled from the internet.

American LED Technology’s LED displays allow you to control them in multiple ways. Our standard display quotes include wireless connectivity with up to 1.5-mile range between display and control center. Additionally, you may opt for other methods such as fiber optics, direct CAT5 connection, RF or cloud.
Wireless – Communicate and control your LED display from distances of up to 1.5 miles using state of the art, encrypted wireless signal. You may send any type of content via wireless Connection (video files, text, images, etc). We recommend an accompanying Windows-based laptop computer which we can pre-program before shipping. This way you can be certain the communication has been tested with all the components and can pre-empt unforeseen connection conflicts related to your client's network.
Direct Connect – By far the most reliable (although not always convenient) way of communicating with your LED display is by a direct connection utilizing conventional or high-grade CAT5 network cable.
